Biography

Sol Zurita is a queer poet, actress, and director from Villa Ballester. She has published the poetry collections Missed Call (Ausencia Ed, 2017); The Turkey Howling Inside the Mouth (Lluvia Dorada Editora, 2022); and Tin Knives (Lluvia Dorada, 2025). In film, she collaborated with Raúl Perrone on Corsario (2018), S4de (2021), and Combo15 (2024) as an actress; co-wrote Solo qu3r3mos un poco d3 amor (2024); and contributed her poetry to 4tro v3int3 (2020). She co-directed the diptych Violencia Love (2021) and wrote the screenplay for La rosa dorada del pánico (Incolla, 2018). She has organized reading cycles alongside various poets, including Inframundo y otros bebestibles (2016); Arrebol (2019); and Es el humo de este poema que me hace llorar (2024–2025, Berlin).
